A bit of a surprise...

So, it looks like someone likes 'Simon's Oath' (project #2 that I've been posting 6 sentences at a time for Six Sentence Sunday).

Thanks to the fun contests that Miss Snark's First Victim hosts, the agent Jenny Bent, of The Bent Agency is going to read the full manuscript.

Wow... honestly I'm a little blown away right now... not sure whether to be excited, terrified, or if I should pinch my own arm to see if I'm really awake.

    Honestly, I totally wasn't expecting this... I just thought it was a great way to get some comments on the opening of my story.

    So I haven't gone and gotten my hopes up or anything :) ...well, okay, maybe a little... but more just 'cause I know, at the very least, I'll get a bit of *real* feedback from a professional :)

    Well, I asked her if she wanted it now, or after I received/implemented my beta-reader feedback. Obviously, she preferred a more polished copy, so I won't be sending it off for about a month.

    ...so there won't be news for a while :)

    But thank you all for sharing this moment of excitement with me :)
